Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci follows the elite Italian family behind one of the world’s most noteworthy fashion houses. Based on Sara Gay Forden’s 2000 book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed, the film will focus on the murder of one-time Gucci head Maurizio Gucci. All eyes are on Lady Gaga, who takes centre stage as Maurizio’s wife Patrizia Reggiani, in her first acting role post the critically acclaimed A Star Is Born.
Gaga is joined by a stellar cast that includes Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Al Pacino, Salma Hayak and Jeremy Irons. The film just released a second trailer that promises a production of epic scale, a glitzy family drama and some sensational mystery. Set to release on November 24, this one surely beckons a visit to the theatres.
