The show follows a political conspiracy at the heart of a mysterious car accident

Hoichoi is entering the political-drama genre with Rajneeti, an original series helmed by director Sourav Chakraborty. The recently released trailer created ripples online, introducing a powerful cast comprising Ditipriya Roy, Arjun Chakrabarty, Kaushik Ganguly, Koneenica Banerjee, Aniruddha Gupta and Shyamal Chakraborty. The show follows a woman who loses her memory after a car accident, only to realise that her accident was caused by a major political conspiracy. More threads start unravelling as she tries to find out more about her past life. The trailer poses many questions about our current political scenario, and the show promises to land even more hard-hitting punches on the state of ethics, deceit and morality in today’s politics.

Rajneeti premieres on Hoichoi on May 26.
