Don’t miss the trailer of Jeet and Rumini’s upcoming film, ‘Boomerang’

The sci-fi film blends high-tech VFX with heartfelt comedy

Ever since Rukmini Maitra and Jeet shared the poster of Boomerang on Instagram, fans have been curious about the film’s VFX, which is expected to be on a scale unseen in Bengali cinema. BTS clips from the film’s title track further heightened interest, promising an engaging love story between Jeet and Rukmini. 

After a long wait, the film’s official trailer is finally out, and it delivers on all counts. The story follows a brilliant scientist who builds a humanoid robot, but must keep its sentient origin a secret at all costs. The visual effects in the trailer show the film’s huge aspirations, with some action set-pieces blending both spectacle and entertainment. Besides this, there is also a great deal of comedy, bringing something for everyone. Catch this wholesome entertainment with your entire family on June 7.
