Fresh trouble brews at Dumbeldore’s Hogwarts

There’s a lot to uncover in the Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore trailer, most notably the new Gellert Grindelwald, played by Mads Mikkelsen (Johnny Depp who played the role in the first two films has been recast following the controversies surrounding him).
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has written the screenplay for the movie along with Steve Kloves and the film will be helmed by David Yates, who directed the last four Potter films and also the first two Fantastic Beasts films.
The 2:25 minute clip opens with the familiar shot of Hogwarts castle. Jude Law plays a young Dumbledore who teams up with Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and a crew of witches and wizards to stop Grindelwald who is obviously up to no good. The Secrets of Dumbledore cast also includes Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams, and Katherine Waterston and the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 25, 2022.
