Potluck is a family drama that is light, fun and very, very relatable. From being roped into a weekly family potluck, the Shashtri siblings and their better halves somehow squeeze themselves out of various mundane problems that have been humorously portrayed by director Rajashree Ojha. This 8-episode series is like a breath of fresh air amidst all the dramatic family sagas that are in abundance on television. Papa Shastri fakes a second heart attack to get his whole family to spend time together every weekend, which results in hilarious situations with the crazy family—from fancy dress parties to heartfelt bonding—the potlucks have them all. Kitu Gidwani and Jatin Sial star as the Shastri parents with Cyrus Sahukar, Harman Singha and Shikha Talsania playing their kids. Ira Dubey, Saloni Khanna and Siddhant Karnick play their love interest respectively. With witty dialogues and great on-screen chemistry between the characters, this show is an adorable addition to family binge-watch time.
