Only a handful of authors can narrate tales of horror as well as the American novelist and screenwriter R.L Stine. His Fear Street series has been released on Netflix as a slasher trilogy starring Kiana Madeira, Maya Hawke, Sadie Sink, Gillan Jacobs and more noteworthy names. The films are set across three timelines, 1994, 1978 and 1666 and follow in the footsteps of cult outings like Scream and Friday the 13th. Directed and written for the screen by Leigh Janiak, the films revolve around a group of teenagers desperate to try and break a curse that has plagued their town for centuries. The trilogy has quite a few jump scares with a slice of adventure and all three instalments are already out on Netflix which makes it the perfect marathon watch.
