Bob Biswas spin-off sees Abhishek Bachchan in a new avatar
The tales of a notorious hitman are coming to your screen

"Nomoshkar… Ek minute." These innocuous words were a spine-chilling takeaway from Sujoy Ghosh's cult mystery thriller, Kahaani. The Vidya Balan-starrer saw popular film actor Saswata Chatterjee portray the role of the part-time LIC officer and full-time contract killer Bob Biswas. Now, debutante director, Diya Annapurna Ghosh is reviving the role in a solo film starring Abhishek Bachchan in the role of the forgetful, psychopathic hitman.
The trailer released recently, shows middle-aged Bob come out of a prolonged coma, unsuccessful in remembering any details from his past. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, the film stars veteran actors Barun Chanda and Paran Banerjee, popular film, television and stage actor Rajatava Dutta and Bazaar actor Chitrangada Singh amongst others. The trailer has already garnered praise from audience and industry insiders alike and the film is all set to release on ZEE5 on December 3, 2021.
