‘Baymax!’ Our favourite character + double the cuteness
The Disney Plus series will begin streaming in the summer of 2022

Disney Plus Day brings with it the trailer of Baymax!, an animated spin-off series based on the healthcare robot, and we finally have something to fill the Big Hero 6-shaped void in our lives.
Barely longer than a minute, the trailer has a lot of heart and is packed with wholesome elements, reminiscent of Don Hall’s Oscar-winning direction. No conflict has been teased yet, but it's still a joy to see Baymax do routine things like assisting people with their health, teaching kids how to apply band-aids, and serving people coffee. Moreover, the low stakes feel like a breath of fresh air from the apocalyptic threats that are plaguing protagonists in other Disney originals.
Set to begin streaming in Summer 2022, this one’s already cemented its place on our watchlist.
