Taapsee Pannu steals the show in ‘Dobaaraa’

The time-travel drama avoids falling into the sci-fi trap of taking oneself too seriously

Dobaaraa is yet another example of Anurag Kashyap's versatility. The time-travel drama revolves around Taapsee Pannu's Antara, who tries to alter events from 1996 in 2010, and ends up impacting 2021. The tight screenplay and Pannu's winning performance ensure that the science-fiction aspect doesn't feel too convoluted, and the narrative's pacing makes it a thrilling watch till the end. While technically deft and dramatically toned, the film still has plenty of LOL moments to make it worth paying a visit to the cinema hall!
