Antonio and Penelope team up for a hilarious comedy

Penélope Cruz and Antonio Banderas are joining hands for a comedy that looks an awful lot like a parody of Hollywood. Argentinian directing duo Gaston Duprat and Mariano Cohn’s Official Competition just dropped its trailer and the fans are elated.
Official Competition stars Cruz as a celebrated director who is hired by a billionaire to make the movie of the century. Banderas plays a Hollywood icon set to star in the fictional feature, along with a radical theatre actor played by Oscar Martinez. Hilarity ensues as egos clash and each performer tries to prove their relevance to the other.
“Through a series of increasingly eccentric trials set by Lola, Félix and Iván must confront not only each other but also their own legacies. Who will be left when the cameras finally start rolling?" the synopsis reads.
