“It’s been a while since I’ve written a love song,” Ankur Tewari wrote on Instagram as he revealed the artwork for his new single Shehzaada Shehzaadi. His hard-hitting lyrics and subtle melodies are already a hit with his listeners and this time around, Tewari brings this artistic appeal to the forefront with the music video of his new single Shehzaada Shehzaadi.
The 2:59 minute animated video is centred around a smitten couple, who oscillate between a sunset at Marine Drive, and a sunny day at the park. In a way the video portrays the fanaticism of romance. The little echoes of love everywhere, be it on the sky or in a sketch, adds to the relatability quotient. In an age of increasingly complex relationships, it is a refreshing change to see a narrative that doesn’t involve conflict, just love.
