It’s a good year to be an Amazon Prime subscriber because the streaming giant just dropped its slate of releases for the next 24 months and the Internet can’t deal with the plethora of content. At a star-studded event hosted by Karan Johar, Abhishek Bachchan and Sumukhi Suresh, Amazon Prime Video rolled out a 40-strong slate of new titles, including original films and series and also new seasons of cult shows and co-productions that it plans to launch, along with new multi-year licensing deals with some of India’s biggest studios.
Besides new seasons of Made in Heaven, Four More Shots Please, Paatal Lok, Mirzapur and The Family Man, there’s also duo Raj and DK’s con thriller series Farzi, starring Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupati, Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force, with Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty, Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar’s Dahaad and Akshay Kumar-starrer Ram Setu.
