A Boy Called Christmas promises to spread Yuletide cheer

Based on the 2015 book of the same name by Matt Haig, A Boy Called Christmas is a celebration of unwavering belief and steely resolve, packaged into a spectacularly styled children's fantasy and stars Maggie Smith, Kristen Wiig and Stephen Merchant.
The plot is a retelling of the familiar tale of Father Christmas. Nikolas, accompanied by his sassy pet mouse and gifted reindeer, sets out on a quest to the North to search for his father. His father in turn, is looking for Elfhelm, the mystical village of the elves.
If the trailer is anything to go by, the film lines up some beautiful visual effects coupled with some great comedy that would be an absolute delight for kids. We can't wait to sit down with some eggnog on November 24, when it releases on Netflix.
