Dil Chahta Hai is a whole other mood. That film and the trio — Akash, Sid and Sameer — still hold a special place in our hearts for wearing their hearts on sleeves, the friendship they shared, their moods and mistakes, their quirks and stories. In short, for being so relatable. Amir Khan, Akshay Khanna and Saif Ali Khan in the Farhan Akhtar directorial still reigns the top 10 go-to films list.

The director who gifted cinephiles and Bollywood buffs a film that dear recently made a stop at the Chapora Fort in Goa after 23-years (the film released in 2001, can you believe it?) and dropped a glimpse on social media. With a beautiful dusk lighting up the sky, Farhan was caught chatting with Bambai Meri Jaan director Shujaat Saudagar, who accompanied him on the trip.

“...A lot has changed but the warm, sea-salt infused Goan air remains the same. Some places are just magical” wrote Farhan reminiscing on social media. So, if you are a Dil Chahta Hai fan and have a yearender trip to Goa on the cards, don’t forget to stop by at the Chapora Fort. And meanwhile, a re-watch of the film has to be on the week’s to do, no?
