While the World Cup result was not what we were hoping for, two moments of sportsmanship shone brighter than the result. The day kickstarted with Sachin Tendulkar gifting Virat Kohli his iconic signed jersey from the 2011 win, creating yet another special moment between two of India's best contemporary batsmen.

Following the match, Kohli also shared a touching moment of mutual respect with Australian rival, Glenn Maxwell, who also took home his jersey.

As dejected as we are right now, moments like these amplify our love with the beautiful game, and boost our support for the Men in Blue.
