Vir Das bags an Emmy for his stand-up special!

The comedian’s ‘Landing’ tied for the award with ‘Derry Girls - Season 3’

Vir Das has added yet another feather in his cap, bagging the International Emmy Award for the Best Unique Comedy for his comedy special, Landing. The special, which is streaming on Netflix, talks about his headspace after the Two Indias controversy and gives an intensely intimate glimpse into what hatred can do to artistes. Das shared the award with Derry Girls - Season 3, and dropped an Instagram post with the iconic trophy, dedicating it to Indian comedy.
