Taika Waititi’s alternate career — shine on the runway

The director looked sharp walking the ramp at New York Fashion Week for Hermès

Is there anything Taika Waititi can’t do? The Thor: Ragnarok director looked no less than a superhero as he walked the ramp at New York Fashion Week for Hermès. Waititi exuded panache in his stunning B&W coat that embodied effortless class. We were more surprised by his smouldering expressions, a major switch from his otherwise quippy demeanour. The director even joked that a part of him was sad about the writers’ strike ending because he felt like he had found an alternate career in modelling. In case he’s reading, we think it’s a very promising option, and he should still consider walking the occasional ramp!
