“The best day of my life was April 2, 2011” — Suresh Raina’s World Cup throwback is precious. The veteran cricketer posted a photo on Sunday, November 19, cheering for his home team for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, sharing glimpses of memories from 2011. A group photo of the team, the bat autographed by the cricketers, the medal – it takes one back to the unforgettable day. Happy faces of Sachin Tendulkar, M.S. Dhoni, Virendra Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli among other cricketers bring a smile to the face. 

While India could not bring the trophy home this year, their dedication, consistency and fighting spirit remains intact, needless to say.
