And for her latest appearance, Sauraseni Maitra was clearly looking to channel some retro drama while balancing a modern styling. For a recent awards do, Sauraseni chose to wear a sleek black gown by Eshaani Jayaswal, featuring an audacious applique trail skirt.

The leotard gown clings to the body while the organza applique trail skirt adds some soft design elements and plays up the silhouette. It’s perfect for those who don’t want to stick to the plain old A-line silhouette. Sauraseni paired the gown with some diamonds but you can also style something this effortless with some pearl jewellery.
