Saira Banu pens heartfelt note on Shah Rukh Khan

Banu draws parallels between SRK and Dilip Kumar in a vulnerable account of her encounters with her star

With every SRK release, the internet comes alive as everyone gushes about their encounters with King Khan. Jawan is no different, prompting legendary actress Saira Banu to reflect upon her relationship with Shah Rukh, and the actor’s profound respect for Dilip Kumar. 

In her latest Instagram post, Banu says that the two men were exceedingly similar, adding that Shah Rukh is almost like a son to her. She even shared a unique ritual she has maintained with the Badshah of Bollywood since their very first meeting, where he lowers his head everytime he sees her, and she blesses him by running her fingers through his hair. One thing that struck us most was how SRK was among the first to offer Banu condolences when her husband passed, ensuring that she had the strength to deal with the loss.  

Whenever we think we have enough reasons to swoon over SRK, we get one more!
