Rapper Cardi B is known to always take fashion risks on red carpets and shine through! This instance was no different. For the Grammy Awards 2023, she chose to sport a structured, almost futuristic, electric blue gown by Indian designer Gaurav Gupta. The custom gown is a rendition of one of the pieces from the designer’s Spring/Summer 23 collection. The dress is truly a masterclass in creation of structure through fabric. The eclipsing waves seem to engulf the rapper while also making her stand out. The gown transitions from edgy to feminine with satin making up the lower half of the dress. Cardi B pairs the look with diamond accessories — chandelier-style earrings, a ring and a bracelet — while keeping her makeup a glossy nude.
