Bollywood superstars Rani Mukerji and Kajol might have basked in Bombay limelight for decades, but their connection to Bengal is still strong. Like every year, the sisters indulged in Durga Puja festivities. Kajol even shared an Instagram reel of her son Yug serving bhog at the family puja. On Ashtami, both Kajol and Rani were spotted at the North Bombay Sarbajanin Durga Puja Pandal, which is helmed by their family. This year saw a steady flow of celeb visitors including Jaya Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Mouni Roy. The sisters bid farewell to Goddess Durga the quintessential Bangali with a  sindoor khela on Dashami, both sporting a traditional look. While Rani went for a white sari with a golden border, Kajol opted for a classic white-and-red sari. Tanishaa Mukerji, Kajol’s younger sister, uploaded pictures with Kajol and Rani with sindoor-smeared faces on her Instagram profile.
