Prosenjit’s next is a period drama about Bollywood
We can’t wait for 'Jubilee'

Vikramaditya Motwane’s first project for Amazon Prime stars Prosenjit Chatterjee as the lead and explores the foundational years of Bollywood. Jubilee, created by Motwane and Soumik Sen, is an upcoming web series that also stars Aditi Rao Hyadri, Aparshakti Khurana and Wamiqa Gabi.
Written by screenwriter Atul Sabharwal (of Aurangzeb and Class of ‘83 fame) Jubilee is reportedly set in a newly independent India. The drama will explore the stories and dreams that gave birth to Bollywood. Motwane too to Instagram to share his excitement over the project. “Look Ma! We made a Show!!! So many amazing people put so much love and effort into making this series come to life. Very overwhelmed, grateful, happy. And F***ing nervous,” he wrote.
