Karan Johar celebrates birthday with a new film announcement
The filmmaker shared a picture of the untitled film’s draft on Instagram

Karan Johar is known to
go all out on his birthdays, with star-studded parties that bring together all
of B-Town. This year, it was slightly different. In addition to the huge bash,
Karan also announced a new film on Instagram, much to the delight of fans.
Karan, who returned to direction last year with the smash-hit, Rocky Aur
Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (his last feature-length directorial was Ae Dil
Hai Mushkil in 2016), won’t keep fans waiting again. The director shared a
picture of the new film’s untitled narration draft, indicating that the film
was ready to be pitched to collaborators. We’re excited to see his
larger-than-life stories grip us yet again in theatres when this film comes to
fruition.
However, Karan the
producer isn’t taking any breaks, with his next film Mr. & Mrs. Mahi is
set to release on May 31. Starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, this
cricket-drama is sure to keep the Dharma craving in you satisfied till Karan
returns to the director’s chair!
