Imtiaz Ali seems to be enjoying Kolkata’s quintessential street food with his daughter Ida, and the director shared a few pictures of the duo on Instagram.

Sitting at a classic roadside tapri, Imtiaz and Ida dug into some kachori-sabzi, accompanied by the classic bhanrer cha. The director marvelled at how the entire meal for two cost just Rs 54, adding that the best places to eat in the city always looked like this!

While we don’t know what brings the duo to the city yet, we hope that Imtiaz is planning to shoot one of his movies here. Seeing the city through his lens will be like poetry!
