We’ve all seen cars displayed during cricket games, with fans often wondering what would happen if a ball struck one. It’s been a dream for many to witness a window being smashed, and that dream became reality last night. During the ongoing Tata WPL, RCB took on UP Warriorz in the last game that was hosted at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB, batting first, put out a mammoth total of 198, with steller stroke play from Smriti Mandhana, Richa Ghosh and Ellyse Perry. The Aussie all-rounder who is often considered one of the best in the women’s game, scored 58 and played the shot of the night when she stepped out against Deepti Sharma in the 19th over and tonked the ball straight at the Tata Punch.ev kept on display. Perry’s six brought out a huge roar from the Bengaluru crowd once they saw the ball had ended up in the back seat after breaking the window.

The moment is going viral on Instagram and WPL has even shared the video for you to see in case you missed it. Perry’s reaction is gold as she puts her hand on her head after seeing the glass shatter. Not sure what would happen and whether she would have to pay Perry said “I’m a bit worried because I don’t think my insurance will work here.” RCB posted a picture of Ellyse Perry standing in front of the car with the caption “The art and the artist” and we are all here for it. Hopefully more windows will be broken at the ongoing WPL and upcoming IPL.
