Surprise your sweetheart by sowing seeds with hidden treasures!

Make this day of love special, but in a different way

Roses - check. Chocolates - check. Gifts - check. Date plan - Check, But, something is missing… Oh wait, the plan of doing something new on Valentine’s Day! Don’t worry, here’s an idea for you and your bae that’s different and special:

1. Go plant shopping, yes you read that right
2. Buy seeds or a small plant that’s a favourite of you two
3. Pick a place, your or his, and if you are living together, problem solved
4. Plant it in a ceramic or earthen pot (say no to plastic)
5. And here comes the twist – both of you hide a gift for each other in the soil right before putting the plant. It has to be non-perishable, and thus a raisin coat photo from your first date or love notes in a non-metal box sound perfect
6. The plan? To re-pot the plant next year on V-Day and open the secret gifts. Sounds fun, right?
