Elton John’s collaboration album The Lockdown Sessions is a bridge between contemporary sounds and the classic tunes of the '60s. The album features stalwarts — Stevie Wonder, Eddie Vedder and Stevie Nicks — alongside millennial pop sensations — Miley Cyrus, Lil Nas X, Dua Lipa and Charlie Puth among others.
Finish Line offers a hint of Stevie Wonder’s magic, Miley Cyrus’s outstanding vocals shine in Nothing Else Matters and Charlie Puth’s mastery of the ivories makes After All a fan-favourite. The title track Cold Heart (remixed by Australian duo Pnau) blends John’s iconic singles — Rocket Man from 1972, Sacrifice from 1989, Kiss the Bride from 1983 and Where's the Shoorah? from 1976 — and features Levitating star, Dua Lipa.
The Lockdown Sessions is #1 on UK music charts. Why haven’t you tuned in yet?
