Shehnaaz Gill showcases the magic of her voice in the song ‘Dhup Lagdi’

We’ve known Shehnaaz Gill as an actor and model, but now we get to see her in a new role as a singer. After making her singing debut with Dil Kya Irada Tera in the film Patna Shukla, Gill has now released a music video for her single Dhup Lagdi. The song not only showcases her talent as a soulful singer but also narrates the story of a rural community, dealing with the aftermath of a flood that destroyed the farmers’ fields. The story depicts how the men had to leave the village in search of work, bidding goodbye to their families, while the women stayed behind.

In the narrative of the song, Shenaaz is bidding goodbye to her love, Sunny Singh. But will they ever meet again? While Udaar was behind the lyrics and music composition, Aniket Shukla worked on the song as a music director and also helped with the composition.
