After a hiatus of six years, hip hop sensation Rihanna released new music last week!
Rihanna’s comeback single Lift Me Up was released on October 28 and will feature in Marvel’s upcoming film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. An ode to late Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in 2020, Lift Me Up is a slow, euphonious ballad that keeps you intensely engaged right through. It takes a more reggae route with slow, mellow chords, not the usual sound in the hip-hop star’s repertoire. The song’s soft arpeggiating harp notes coupled with layered guitar strings will leave you humming the song all day.
