Halsey’s fourth studio album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power (IICHLIWP) dropped in 2021 with two exclusive tracks Nightmare (Reprise) and People Disappear Here that were available only on the physical edition of the album. How disheartening, right? Well, not anymore. The Manic-singer just released digital versions of both tunes on all streaming platforms.
The tune of People Disappear Here has a trance-like quality, and is dotted with folk elements, jazzy piano notes which combine with Halsey’s sprawling vocals to form the perfect syzygy. “The extended version of IICHLIWP is out now featuring the new and moody ethereal goodness that is People Disappear Here plus a reimagined version of Nightmare,” tweeted the singer while announcing the revamped album.
Is People Disappear Here moody, ethereal goodness? Tune in and find out.
