One Right Now, the first-ever collaboration between Post Malone and Canadian singer The Weeknd has resulted in quite the uproar since its release last Friday. This second track of Post Malone's fourth studio album, is a twist on contemporary electronic music, with the singers’ harmonies set to soft electronic beats. The lyrics take listeners on a tremendous journey of grief, guilt and joy — all the complicated emotions that accompany the song’s theme of infidelity.
Both Malone and The Weeknd shared a seven-second teaser on their Instagram stories on November 3, that left fans at the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting the release. One Right Now suggests an entirely new sound for both musicians and we can’t wait for their new individual albums slated to drop before 2021 ends.
