Christmas is incomplete without carols! Though in 2023, some of vintage carols and crooning for an upgrade. We can’t let this Christmas season pass by without resharing Miley Cyrus’s feminist twist to the lyrics of Santa Baby. Recently, the singer’s updated version of the carol from her 2018 appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon went viral again, and we couldn’t help going gaga over her charm.

The original version from 1944 talks about a man persuading his date to spend the night, and has often been perceived as manipulative and problematic. Miley’s version updates it, telling Santa that she doesn’t need gift boxes, cash or stock, but equal pay. She adds that while she can buy her own car, she needs men to stop sending her unflattering pictures of their genitals. You go girl!
