Debojyoti Mishra’s modern rendition of the popular folk song Mahut Bandhu gives you the feel of sitting by a river bank, engrossed in melody, as the sun bids an adieu for the day.

Sung by Rupam Islam & Khnada Bhattacharjee (Ananya), it is described as “the conventional folk song that encapsulates the deep emotions of life with distinct tones of Bhawaiya”.

The use of piano, dotara, bouzouki, banjo, saaz, flute, electric guitar and other musical instruments create a harmony that’s unforgettable and makes one listen in a loop.
