Hip hop icon Nas just dropped a new project titled Magic, produced by his longtime collaborator Hit-Boy. The nine-track album includes a collaborative track with A$AP Rocky and DJ Premier along with a tribute to the late fashion pioneer Virgil Abloh. Throughout the album Nas references some rap heavyweights such as Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, and Gang Starr.
“MAGIC is in the air. Midnight et brand new music to vibe to,” Nas wrote on Instagram alongside cover art for the new album. Earlier this year Nas dropped the album King’s Disease II, his follow-up to 2020 release King’s Disease, which earned him his first Grammy Award. And in July this year, Nas celebrated the 25th anniversary of his sophomore studio album, It Was Written.
