Mike Shinoda reflects on Linkin Park’s journey as band drops ‘From Zero’
The iconic band releases their first album in seven years, with a world tour set for 2025

Linkin Park has made a triumphant return with the release of From Zero, their first album since the passing of legendary vocalist Chester Bennington. Co-founder Mike Shinoda shared a deeply emotional message reflecting on the band’s resilience over the past seven years, acknowledging the support from fans and collaborators. In his post, Shinoda highlighted the significance of this release, expressing gratitude to his bandmates and the community that helped turn challenges into inspiration.
The album, featuring singles like The Emptiness Machine and Two Faced, offers a modern evolution of Linkin Park's signature sound while preserving the depth their fans cherish.
The band also introduced new members Emily Armstrong as co-vocalist and Colin Brittain as drummer, signalling a fresh chapter in their legacy. Alongside the album’s release, Shinoda announced the From Zero world tour, beginning in early 2025, which coincides with the 17th anniversary of their debut performance as “Xero.” With the album now available, Linkin Park’s comeback is a heartfelt celebration of creativity and resilience.
