‘LALISA’ by Lisa from Blackpink

The k-pop icon has been smashing records left and right

When Blackpink’s Lisa launched her solo debut album Lalisa last September, her fans already knew the artiste was set to scale new heights. Not only did the album sell over 736,000 copies in South Korea during the first week, but the music video for its lead single clocked in 73.6 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release, becoming the most-viewed music video in the first 24 hours by a solo artiste.

And now Lisa can add another feather to her cap. Lisa's agency YG Entertainment shared that 

the track Money hit 300 million streams on Spotify within 112 days of its release. Moreover, the album garnered over 464 million streams on Spotify making it the most-streamed album by a K-Pop solo act ever on Spotify. This record was previously held by BTS' Suga's D-2.
