Lady Gaga just announced that she has worked on a single for the much-anticipated Top gun sequel, starring Tom Cruise. Top Gun: Maverick features Tom Cruise reprising his role as Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell. He returns to train a detachment of TOPGUN graduates for a specialized mission. The single titled Hold My Hand, is scheduled to drop on May 3. Lady Gaga took to social media to share her feelings about this exciting project.

“When I wrote this song for Top Gun: Maverick, I didn’t even realize the multiple layers it spanned across the film’s heart, my own psyche, and the nature of the world we’ve been living in. I’ve been working on it for years, perfecting it, trying to make it ours,” the singer wrote.
