Kolkata-based independent musician Aamir Rizvi is back with a new track, this time in collaboration with brother Rfaraz. Over is a contemporary take on love. According to Rizvi, ‘’everything that one hears in my tunes is based on events that have happened in real life. Over is about mind games and hopelessness, the desperation for love and eventually realising that love doesn’t really exist in today’s world. It’s just a fantasy.’’ The song was brought together in three months, right from penning the lyrics to hitting the right chords.

Aamir, a student of St Xavier’s College, Kolkata, is active in the independent music circuit in the city. His next performances will be at Olterra on January 2 and 6 followed by 13 more gigs around the city. Over is available on Spotify, Youtube and other streaming channels. So listen today!
