'Easy on Me’ by Adele

Adele’s new track Easy on Me, from her comeback album 30 seems to have rendered her fans quite emotional. 30 is Adele’s fourth studio album; the 15-time Grammy winner is releasing new music after a six-year break and has revealed that the project is intensely personal and also addresses her divorce.

Easy on Me is quintessentially Adele-esque with its powerful vocals, a soulful piano ballad, poignant lyrics, hints of soft bass, and a stylised black-and-white music video. The lyrics to the single, much like some of her earlier tracks like Someone Like You, Hello, and Send My Love (To Your New Lover), talk about a particularly difficult heartbreak. So, if you’re swept away with post-puja blues, Adele may just help you cope.
