Band members Joe Elliott, Rick Allen, Vivian Campbell, Phil Collen and Rick Savage just dropped their leadoff single Kick a few days ago.
Diamond Star Halos is the band’s first collection of new songs since 2015’s Def Leppard. The upcoming album was recorded during the pandemic while frontman Joe Elliott was in Ireland, bassist Rick Savage along with guitarists Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell were in England, and drummer Rick Allen was in the United States.
“Without the pressure of timelines or a fixed schedule they poured all of their energy into crafting 15 meaningful tracks with a mixture of classic spirit meets modern fire,” the band said in a statement.
