Charlie Puth gets extremely vulnerable in his latest track, Charlie Be Quiet! the sixth advance single from his third studio album, Charlie. The song has fast rhythms and some catchy high notes that contrast beautifully with the mellow theme. The lyrics offer a relatable look into the fear of driving away love because of being vocal, and much like us, Charlie keeps asking himself to tone it down and …‘be quiet.’ Telling a story of the baggage of past heartbreak, each verse carries the fear of botching up a new love, and treading carefully. These nuances make the song feel like an intimate look into the life of an artist we have mostly seen from a distance.
