Record-breaking K-pop act BTS might have hit pause on new songs as a group, but it won’t be a complete dry spell for ARMYs (BTS fans).
On September 22, popular South Korean singer-songwriter Crush released his new single Rush Hour, which features BTS rapper J-Hope. The collab has been a hit, and the funky vibe and catchy rhythm make the song a perfect danceable number. J-Hope, who has also contributed to the lyrics, comes in with his effortless, almost laid-back, rap and blends in marvellously with Crush’s artistic style and vocals. It seems like Crush has absolutely loved working on the song with J-Hope. While promoting Rush Hour on IU’s Palette (a Korean talk show), Crush remarked about the BTS member: “There’s a reason he’s successful... Since he participated in my album... he watched my performances, contents I made... He watched all of it to work with me...” Now that’s the mark of a global superstar! If you’re looking for a groovy song to beat the Monday blues, let Rush Hour be your saviour.
