The ‘Old Town Road’ singer released his debut album ‘Montero’ last week

After working with singer Billy Ray Cyrus in Old Town Road, American rapper and singer-songwriter Lil Nas X has now collaborated with his daughter Miley Cyrus for his new hit song Am I Dreaming. The singer cheekily tweeted that he wouldn’t rest until he’d “collected every cyrus stone to harness the ultimate power”. The acoustic ballad opens with melancholic lyrics with Miley taking over from the second verse.

Am I Dreaming is the closing song of the 22-year-old pop-rap star’s debut album Montero (named after his real name Montero Lamar Hill), which has 15 tracks and features artists such as Elton John, Doja Cat, Meghan Thee Stallion, and Jack Harlow. The album also features LGBT-positive confessional lyrics and was promoted and marketed in unconventional ways that repeatedly broke the internet.
