Vir Das’s global charm was affirmed yet again, as his last Netflix special, Landing, was nominated for an International Emmy Award in the Comedy category. This is Das’s second Emmy nomination, with his inaugural nomination coming in 2021 for his special, titled For India. The comedian took to Instagram to express his gratitude for everyone who worked on the show, and thanked the streaming platform for letting him tell his story.

Landing was a response to the ‘Two Indias’ controversy that Das was caught in, and tells a personal story about the comedian questioning his life over the course of a long flight.

If you’re looking for more Vir Das, he is touring around the world with his new show, Mindfool, and bringing it to Kolkata on October 26 at the Science City Auditorium.
