Netflix India’s social media game is always on point, giving a desi twist to its global catalogue. The historical-fiction epic, Bridgerton, was the latest to receive an Indian-style makeover.
The streaming giant’s latest Instagram post juxtaposed the show’s character’s with Bollywood’s quintessential romantic drama, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, reimagining the show’s most iconic scenes with the film’s most iconic dialogues. The result is absolutely hilarious, as we imagine Jonathan Bailey raving about sanskar in Amitabh Bachchan’s baritone, while Simone Ashley mimics how white people ask for ‘a drop of lemon’ in their tea!
