If you’re going out tonight, take a page out of Dixie D’amelio’s lookbook and go for a dramatic retro eye. Patrick Ta created this sleek, breathy winged liner that is more wearable than heavy smokey lids or a full cat-eye. Although this look needs more time to perfect, than a regular winged eye, it’s worth the effort! It needs some solid brow work. Even if you have light brows, use a tweezer to shape them first. Patrick Ta uses a professional-quality, 25-degree slant tip tweezer that offers the perfect angle for working against the brow bone.

The make-up guru also uses a lash curler to add more definition to the eyelashes, which is quicker than going for fake lashes. Start the outline with a pencil and draw out the lids first, which will help you blend the liner with the lashes.
