If you thought baby braids were this season’s hottest hair trend, wait till we introduce you to the Y2K-inspired braided tendril trend. From Jennifer Lopez and Kendall Jenner to Tracee Ellis Ross and Millie Bobby Brown, this throwback trend has found several A-lister takers.

It’s typically styled to frame your face but it also offers an easy way to add some edge to your snatched bun or ponytail. It can also help you out on bad hair days when you’re struggling to get your blow-out right. Celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton recently styled a braided tendril on J-Lo and paired it with a snatched high bun.
