Seafood in South Indian flavours always makes for a delicious dish, and Trinca’s is serving up seafood royalty in tangy southern flavours in their new dishes. The Tamarind Lobster has the crustacean cooked in a thick flavourful coconut-milk curry, flavoured with tomato, onion and tamarind along with aromatics like ginger and garlic, and the spice of red chillies. The spiciness of the gravy is balanced by the creamy coconut milk which gives every mouthful a rich feel. The classic tamarind and jaggery flavours add a subtle sweet-and-sour note to the dish. The piquant curry is accompanied by fluffy, yellow lemon rice. The mild tang of the basmati rice with tempered curry leaves, chillies and whole mustard seeds is the perfect accompaniment to bring the whole dish together.
