Finding authentic crêpes in Kolkata isn’t easy and having them delivered is a whole other story. Very few European joints offer breakfast crêpes but the Desapriya Park joint Uncle Peter’s Pancakes has a menu dedicated to savoury crêpes where you can find ten different kinds of crêpes along with some classic sweet crêpes. Their spinach mushroom and cream cheese crêpes are light, airy and soft and are perfect for breakfast.

The 10-inch crêpes are wrapped around sauteed mushrooms, butter tossed baby spinach and has a bed of cream cheese filling. It’s sprinkled with olive oil and served with tossed veggies and mashed potatoes. You’ll also find a Bechamel Mushroom crêpe and an all-cheese crêpe featuring mozzarella, cheddar and cream cheese. Pair the crêpes with a strawberry hot chocolate or ginger tea.
